Dorothée Charles is programmatiedirecteur voor Visuele Kunst bij de Franse ambas sade in New York en was curator bij het Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Parijs. Ze was curator van de tentoonstelling 'Playmobil' in 2010 en co-curator van de tent oonstellig 'Toys and Men' in het Grand Palais in 2011.
